Taratashi offers you a package to visit Kavaratti - the Administrative Capital of Lakshadweep and a three-day stay on the island. Swimming, snorkeling, scuba dive lagoon cruise in a glass-bottomed boat and other water sports on offer can make your holiday memorable.

The Headquarters of the Administration, Kavaratti is beautiful calm lagoon and forms an ideal spot for water sports, swimming and basking on warm sandy beaches. The Ajara and Jamnath mosques (of the 52 on the island) have the best woodcarving and the former has a particularly good ceiling carved out of driftwood.

The stay on the island is in the tourist huts with all modern amenities. There are only 10 beds available at Kavaratti. However more seats can be made available on dormitory accomodation. Transportation by M.V.Tipu Sultan, M.V.Amindivi and M.V.Minicoy.
